Shipping Policy — The Intentional Pet

Processing Time
All orders are processed and dispatched within 48 hours of being received. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship Australia-wide using Australia Post. At checkout, you can choose from:

Standard Shipping — calculated at checkout based on Australia Post's current rates for your delivery location.
Express Post — available where Australia Post provides Express Post coverage for your region, calculated at checkout based on their current rates. If Express Post isn't available for your postcode, this option won't appear at checkout.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your order weight, dimensions, and delivery address.

Free Standard Shipping
Orders totalling $150 (AUD) or more, after any discounts have been applied, qualify for free Standard Shipping, automatically applied at checkout. This offer applies to Standard Shipping only - if you'd like your order sent via Express Post, standard Express Post rates will still apply, even on orders over $150.

Please be aware that any products from our Temperature Sensitive collection will only be shipped via Express Post to ensure they arrive with as little time as possible in transit. Because of this, these products do not qualify for our Free Standard Shipping on orders over $150; however, you will benefit from a 30% reduced Express Shipping rate instead.

Estimated Delivery Times
As a guide only (actual times depend on Australia Post's network and your location):

Standard Shipping: typically 5–10 business days for metro areas, and up to 10–14 business days for regional and remote areas.
Express Post: typically 2–5 business days for eligible postcodes within the Express Post network.

Please allow additional time for deliveries to regional and remote areas.

These are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may be affected by public holidays, peak periods, or circumstances outside our control.

Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your parcel's journey through Australia Post's tracking system.

Practical addition to a daily dental care ritual
Suited to guardians already committed to regular brushing
Comfortable handle for easier control during brushing

Details

Brushing is the single most effective dental care habit you can build into your dog's routine, and having the right tool makes it far easier to stick with. This dual-headed brush is designed to reach different angles and areas of the mouth in one tool, while the bamboo construction reflects the same low tox, considered material choices found throughout a more natural approach to daily care.

For guardians who have already committed to regular brushing, or are looking to start, this brush turns what could feel like an awkward task into something more manageable, genuinely helping you reach every tooth rather than just the easy ones at the front.

FAQs

How often should I brush my dog's teeth?
Daily brushing is ideal, though even a few times a week makes a meaningful difference over standard dental chews alone.

My dog is new to brushing; where do I start?
Start slowly, letting your dog get used to the sensation on their gums and teeth before attempting a full brushing session, and always pair it with plenty of positive reinforcement.

Do I need a special toothpaste?
Yes, always use a toothpaste formulated specifically for dogs, as human toothpaste can be harmful if swallowed.
