Details

Regular nail trims are one of the simpler grooming habits to maintain, provided you have a tool you trust. This stainless steel nail clipper is designed for a clean, confident trim, making nail care a routine part of your dog's grooming ritual rather than a dreaded, occasional event.

FAQs

How often should I trim my dog's nails?
Most dogs benefit from a trim every three to four weeks, though this varies depending on activity level and surface wear.

How do I avoid cutting the quick?
Trim small amounts at a time, and if your dog has light coloured nails, look for the pink area indicating the quick. For dark nails, trim conservatively or ask your vet or groomer to demonstrate.

What should I do if I accidentally cut the quick?
Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth or styptic powder if available, and monitor for any ongoing bleeding.

Millers Forge Nail Clippers

These nail clippers are very good. They have excellent cutting edges, that make trimming your dogs nails simple, clean and easy. They did need a bit of adjustment to tighten the moving parts up. But, after easily doing so, they are fantastic. I did find them a bit pricey, but again, they will last for many years and will pay for themselves.

The best nail clipper on the market. Quality, although slight rust appearing on the side of the steel blade.
