Shipping Policy — The Intentional Pet

Processing Time
All orders are processed and dispatched within 48 hours of being received. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship Australia-wide using Australia Post. At checkout, you can choose from:

Standard Shipping — calculated at checkout based on Australia Post's current rates for your delivery location.
Express Post — available where Australia Post provides Express Post coverage for your region, calculated at checkout based on their current rates. If Express Post isn't available for your postcode, this option won't appear at checkout.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your order weight, dimensions, and delivery address.

Free Standard Shipping
Orders totalling $150 (AUD) or more, after any discounts have been applied, qualify for free Standard Shipping, automatically applied at checkout. This offer applies to Standard Shipping only - if you'd like your order sent via Express Post, standard Express Post rates will still apply, even on orders over $150.

Please be aware that any products from our Temperature Sensitive collection will only be shipped via Express Post to ensure they arrive with as little time as possible in transit. Because of this, these products do not qualify for our Free Standard Shipping on orders over $150; however, you will benefit from a 30% reduced Express Shipping rate instead.

Estimated Delivery Times
As a guide only (actual times depend on Australia Post's network and your location):

Standard Shipping: typically 5–10 business days for metro areas, and up to 10–14 business days for regional and remote areas.
Express Post: typically 2–5 business days for eligible postcodes within the Express Post network.

Please allow additional time for deliveries to regional and remote areas.

These are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may be affected by public holidays, peak periods, or circumstances outside our control.

Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your parcel's journey through Australia Post's tracking system.

PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers
We can ship to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers where supported by Australia Post's service.

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels
If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, or has arrived damaged, please contact us at hello@theintentionalpet.com with your order number so we can investigate with Australia Post on your behalf.

Details

Rolled rather than flat, Salmon Knobbles ask a little more of a chew than a simple piece of dried skin. The rolling creates layers for a dog to work through one at a time, turning a familiar single ingredient, 100% Australian salmon skin, into something with genuine staying power.

Naturally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, they carry the same nourishing qualities as our other salmon skin treats, just in a chunkier, more considered form. Nothing else is added, so the variation in shape from piece to piece is simply part of what makes each one genuinely natural.

A pack of four is sized for treating as a ritual, not an everyday grab bag, something to reach for when you want to give your dog a little more time settled with a chew.

FAQs

How is this different to Salmon Twirls?
Salmon Knobbles are rolled into a chunkier, layered shape for a longer chew, while Twirls are twisted into a lighter, crunchier treat. Both are made from the same single ingredient.

Why does the shape vary between pieces?
As a naturally rolled product with nothing added, some variation in shape and size between pieces is expected.

Are these suitable for smaller dogs?
Yes, though supervise smaller dogs with any chunkier chew, and adjust portion size to your dog's size.

How should these be stored?
Keep sealed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
